Ever since I was a child, animals have held a special place in my heart. Growing up, I was the kind of kid who would rush outside at the sound of a bird’s song, marveling at the way it fluttered from tree to tree. My fascination with animals went beyond mere curiosity—it was an unspoken bond that I felt deeply within. When I was five, my family adopted a stray dog. I remember the day vividly; a cold, rainy afternoon when we found him shivering under our porch. He had no collar, no home, and yet, when I looked into his eyes, I felt an instant connection. We named him Max, and from that day forward, Max became my best friend. He taught me about loyalty, compassion, and responsibility—all lessons that have shaped who I am today. I spent my childhood caring for Max and other animals that crossed my path. Whether it was nursing a wounded bird back to health or adopting stray cats from the neighborhood, I found joy in giving them love and care. I even had a collection of books about animal behavior, spending hours reading and learning about their different traits, habitats, and how to care for them. As I grew older, this passion didn’t fade—it evolved. I began volunteering at local shelters, working with rescue animals and learning about the complex relationship between humans and animals. This deep connection to animals inspired me to explore ways to help them in bigger ways, which eventually led me to where I am today, combining my love for animals with my work Looking back, my journey with animals has always been one of mutual respect and love. Whether it was that stray dog who became my best friend or the countless other creatures I encountered, they have been my constant companions, reminding me of the simple yet powerful joys that come from caring for something beyond myself. And today, as I continue to work on projects that help animals live better lives, I know that this lifelong bond will always guide me—just like it has since I was that curious child chasing butterflies and befriending stray dogs.
